TEHRAN -- President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday congratulated Islamic nations on the start of Ramadan, expressing hope for closer cooperation among Muslims and assistance for the people of Palestine and Lebanon. In a message, the Iranian president described the holy Islamic month as a valuable opportunity to ponder over the creation of humans and the world, obey divine orders, and help the poor. Pezeshkian also expressed hope that Ramadan and the collective action by the heads of Islamic countries would result in the expansion of cooperation among Muslim nations and stronger efforts to relieve the pains of the Palestinian nation as well as the oppressed people in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
